Fat 1/8th pack ~ 23 pcs $70.00
We love our CAG days when girls from all over the state arrive to sit and stitch and chat and show off their beautiful applique projects.  Last Saturday was no exception and here are just a few of the stunning quilts shown . . .

Sandra's William Morris quilt
Beverley's 'Sarah's Wreath'
Meghan's giving this stunning quilt to a friend.

Vera lives here in Castlemaine and is newish to patchwork and quilting.  She is always setting challenges for herself and here is her newest.  Vera is making the same quilt in two different colourways just so she can play with fabrics and colour.  Look how cleverly she has used this green serpentine print as the background.

Vera's colour challenge.
Such very clever use of the green serpentine.
What do you mean I can't learn how to rotary cut?!

  1. Brilliant use of the serpentine fabric! I can hardly believe that Vera is a "new-ish" quilter! Then again, I have come to assume that Australians have a genetic creativity component I certainly don't possess! Annie on Vashon Island
