What can you do with an old flat iron?

Not ironing, if we can possibly help it!  Today Kurt brought this beautiful table lamp into Threadbear which he just finished making.  Featuring an old nickel plated flat iron base, it looks fabulous in Kurt's part of the shop, but we had to borrow it to show you all before some lucky person decides to buy it and take it home to their place.  If you think it might need to go to your house, just phone us at the shop for details.

This week American Patch  arrived ~ a fantastic reproduction range from the Rocky Mountain Quilt Museum collection. You'll find 7 shirtings as well as a mix of medium and dark prints in red, pink, medium blue, navy, caramel and chocolate.   The prints are small and include tiny stars, florals,  spots, and geometrics. These are perfect stash builders!  As always, we have fat eighth packs available for those of you who need just a little of the whole range.  Click here to see the complete range on our website.

#1 American Patch $27.50m
#2 American Patch $27.50m

#3 American Patch $27.50m

#4 American Patch $27.50m

#5 American Patch $27.50m
Di Ford Hall joins us for a new class date to teach her Giggleswick Mill Mystery quilt.  The class in July is full.  But we are now taking bookings for a new date Saturday 27 August.  Here's a sneak preview of parts of the quilt which is still a work in progress.

The class will be held here in Castlemaine, 10am-3pm $95.00 payable on booking which will cover your class fee, lunch, morning and afternoon tea. If you'd like to join us, just phone the shop to book your place.  But don't delay as places are filling fast.
Sam's had a busy week in the workshop this week with Kurt. Here he is supervising and making sure no birds come within a 10 metre radius of the shed door!  Have a great week everyone.
