More Fun....More Thanks.

 
We had yet another wonderful weekend at Threadbear and we did have a heap of fun...Thank you so much to all of the ladies that joined us on Saturday for Di Fords Fussy Cutting class, we hope that you all had as much fun as we did.....and of course, a huge thank you to Di for another wonderful class...thanks Di for the long drive it takes for you to be with us, thanks for the chance to see many of your beautiful quilts, and thank you for all your wonderful inspiration. Thank you also to Megan who was on had to help out, as 25 ladies spent Saturday working on the centre medellion of this stunning quilt and learning all Di's tips and secrets for making fussy cutting such fun.


The three patterns we prepared for our Midday to Midnight Sit and Sew are now available in the shop along with starter packs for each of the projects...you can buy the patterns alone or with the starter packs, that are $25.00 each, and you can ring us at the shop or email us if you would like any of them...

We are always thrilled when any of you bring your quilts in for show and tell, and this week we were treated to some real inspiration...thank you Debbie so much for bring in your quilt to share...Debbie was on her way to a quilting weekend, and we all know what fun they are...just look at this gorgeous scrappy quilt...all hand pieced to perfection...you should see Debbie's perfect points....it is such a beautiful quilt.


Now..feast your eyes on this....Karin has made this absolute stunner using Megan's pattern for the Arden Quilt.  Karin has replaced Megan's centre appliqué panel with a Dutch Chintz Tree of Life Panel to make this quilt...thanks Karin for showing us and letting us share....your quilt took our breath away, it is absolutely beautiful....

 Show and tell just makes us all want to drop what we are doing and run home to our sewing.


More cold weather in Castlemaine today...nothing for a dog to do but rug up and find the warmest spot in the classroom.
