Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to All.

Tomorrow, Saturday 20th December will be our last day in the shop until we reopen again on January 3rd.
We have one final delivery to show you before we close on Saturday.  "Crazy for Red" by Minick and Simpson for Moda is a fantastic collection of tans, creams and the rich vivid reds we love Moda so much for.

There are 24 prints in this range with great small prints, some spots, some paisleys and some large rambling tone on tone florals.  "Crazy for Red" is $23.00 mt and if you fancy a handy supply of reds, tans and creams at the ready in the sewing room, the 1/8 packs have all 24 for $72.00.


It is not too early to start making sewing plans for the new year, and boy do we have good news for you all.  Di Ford Hall is coming to Threadbear in 2015.   We are looking forward to three wonderful days with Di.....and with a bit of advance travel warning we are hoping that some of you from further away may be able to join us.

Bookings for these classes will be taken in January 2015....and we look forward to you joining us at Threadbear for a wonderful day with Di Ford Hall.

We would like to wish you all the very very happiest Christmas and a brilliant New Year for everyone...full of lots of spare time, just perfect for sewing.

Our heartfelt thanks go out to everyone for all your wonderful support and friendship throughout 2014 and we are already looking forward to another year of fun together in 2015.

And Sammy would like to wish you all the Happiest Christmas by sharing with you a photo of his very first Christmas...you can see that from a very early age he was an absolute master at unwrapping his gifts.  Merry Christmas everyone.

  2. I absolutely LOVE the pictures of Sammy! He really was such a cutie-pie as a baby and still is one. Gorgeous fabrics too. Merry Christmas to you all in Australia!!!!!
