Our lovely Annabelle is not here today to bring you the blog so I'm afraid you are in my hands. Let me apologize in advance for any slip in AB's usual high blogging standards . The sun is streaming in Threadbear's windows this morning and our spirits are high. Spring is in the air ...almost... so we thought we'd show you a range that arrived recently ... Cynthia by Mary Koval. This is a gorgeous collection of reproduction fabrics in musk pink, peppermint green, forest green, cream, butter yellow and a hint of brown.
The flamboyant feature print comes in two colourways of cream or green.
The tone on tone stripes are really lovely and would make such beautiful backgrounds or bindings. And the tone on tone feathery prints are so special...perfect backgrounds!
It was a perfect morning to welcome some of the girls from Essendon for their retreat and we were thrilled to see Joy's "Miss Matty's Parlour" in progress. Thankyou Joy for bringing this to show us.
Corliss has been burning the midnight oil and busily finishing her Beamish Scrapbag quilt ---with Sammy's help or course.
But as we all know, after a long day at work and an evening of sewing, we all get tired and need a snooze. So on behalf of snoozing Sammy, a big hello to Annabelle (we miss you) , and to Joy's grandchildren who love to see what Sammy has been up to, and we hope you all enjoy some sunshine today. Have a great weekend everyone... Happy stitching
