Red, Black and Lots of Colour.

Today we have new fabric to enjoy....First, "The Lancaster Collection" By Sara Morgan.  This is a great collection of reds, blacks and creams...lots of good prints and great patterns in this range....it is $23.50 mt and the 1/8 packs are $63.00.  There are lots of really useable prints in this range, great florals and gorgeous little paisleys.

Also new is this fantastic range of prints from Kim Diehl...Kim Diehl always gives us such sensational colours and "Vintage Farmhouse" is a feast of gorgeous colours.  There are some stunning colours in this range and lots of really handy prints for those moments when you need a special pop of colour. It is $22.00 mt and the 1/8 packs have all 26 fabrics for $78.00

We are looking forward to another busy Saturday tomorrow as Threadbear's Appliqué Group get together.  It has been a freezing cold week so it will be nice to sit together in the warm and chat, chat, chat and sew, sew, sew.  If you are coming along dont forget your show and tell.

The following Saturday, August 9th, means another road trip for Threadbear....Corliss will be a guest speaker at Victorian Quilters Winter Gathering.  The winter Gathering is being held at Box Hill Town Hall from 9.30 to 4.00 so if you would like to hear Corliss speak and see some of her beautiful quilts, or find a few little treats at Threadbear's stand, well  pop along for a sit and sew...it is BYO lunch and mug, and promises to be another fun day of chit chat and sewing.

We asked Sammy to give us his best Friday smile for the blog today...he is wagging his tail and it does look like he is getting ready for a big cheesy grin...we all wish you very happy weekend...if you are in Victoria you will need to rug up, but on the plus side it is perfect weather for sewing.
