A Good Time Had by All . . .

Our newest sewing group, Passionate Piecers, made a flying start on Saturday with a full house of happy girls.  Margaret McDonald was our guest speaker and treated us to a selection of her stunning quilts as well as designing a special block just for us.  We all went home with the pattern for a unique hexagon block ~ lucky us!

Here are a few pics of yummy quilts shared during Show & Tell ~
Carmen's beautiful hexagons.
Ronda is hand quilting her Montmellick!
Wendy's 'Just Plain Nuts'.
Helen's Mountmellick in her fabric choices.
A 1930s quilt Corliss has in her collection.

"The Settlement Collection" by Jeanne Horton is a group of very useful blending fabrics ~ all of which have made their way onto my shelf!

This red is much like the one below - just doesn't show in the pic.

A few new books have arrived into stock to tempt us with more on the way . . .

Sam is doing a lot of 'supervising' in his mum's newly renovated sewing room most nights!
Hope you are finding plenty of time to stitch as our days gradually get shorter.
