AUSTRALIA DAY HOLIDAY ~ Thursday 26 January 2017 Opening Hours 11am-2pm
Welcome to this bright shiny new year and our first blog post for 2017. We're all very excited about what this year will bring for Threadbear, especially with the release of Di Ford-Hall's newest fabric range,
Bally Hall, due in March, AND her second book with QuiltMania being launched in April. We've been taking pre-orders for both for several months now, so if you'd like to place an order, just email or phone us with the details ~ you won't want to miss out!
New this week..... a selection of gorgeous stash builders from Di Ford -Hall's range of blenders
Key West. We love these versatile prints in stunning shades of teal through to an almost green and they all sit so beautifully with our reproduction fabrics.

Our favourite magazine, QuiltMania arrived last week to kick off the new quilting year. Issue #117 is packed with great projects and inspiration to get you busy sewing including this year's QuiltMania Block of the Month by the very talented Michelle Yeo. You'll find Part 1 of Michelle's
Torrington Place in this issue ~ definitely not to be missed. We've sent our magazines to all our regular subscribers, but we do have plenty for the shop, so phone us if you'd like to receive a copy.
Finally, we have some show and tell from some of our lovely customers. Paulette started making
The Caswell Quilt, but after 6 blocks decided she would add some borders of her own design instead. Well done Paulette, it's beautiful.
This morning Vera burst through the door excited to show us her latest finished project. Vera used some favourite chintzy fabrics to design and create her own Dutch inspired quilt. Thanks for showing us Vera, we love it!
Sam had a great Christmas with his family, including his friend Benny Big Ears. But his favourite part of the holidays is always opening his presents, although the tidying up part afterwards seems
to have passed him by completely (just like my teenagers)! So while Christmas has been and gone for another year, Sammy has made sure to leave a stash of Christmas treats on the classroom table here at the shop, ready for the next time he might be peckish! Have a great weekend everyone!
